You know when you first hear about a new upcoming activity that truly sounds so cool that you immediately put it down as a must-do? Well, the latest interactive installation coming to town is called 1000 Doors and it definitely fits the must-do criteria.

From the masterminds behind House of Mirrors, which mesmerised visitors at the 2018 Auckland Arts Festival, the aptly named 1000 Doors invites you to lose yourself in a seemingly endless series of doors, screens, portals, and gateways.

Every entrance starts at the same door however no two people leave the same way as they entered.

I can’t confirm what you’ll see along the way but there is a possibility you may encounter time-travelling and ghosts so things could get a little spooky.

1000 Doors is on January 10 until February 6 at Aotea Square. Tickets are $10 each and you can buy them at the door.
