I love listening to R&B. What’s more, I really, really love listening to a good throwback R&B jam. So when it was announced that Craig David, Ne-Yo, Sean Paul, Kelis, Mario, Christina Milian and Fatman Scoop are joining forces to bring us the ultimate R&B show, you bet your milkshake I was thrilled.
Introducing Friday Jams Live 2017, this 5-hour throwback R&B concert is on October 22 at Spark Arena.
Count on crowd favourites and timeless anthems to be performed at the show.
Craig David will bring his live DJ and vocal set up Craig David Presents TS5 to the show featuring his hit songs 7 Days, Walking Away, What’s Your Flava and Re-rewind.
Ne-Yo’s set will include many of his smash tunes including So Sick, Miss Independent, Closer, Let Me Love You and Time Of Our Lives.
I guarantee you will be dancing like no one is watching during Sean Paul’s set. I know I will be hard out dancing to Get Busy.
When it’s time for Kelis to perform, Milkshake will no doubt be an absolute crowd pleaser.
For me, the song I am most looking forward to watching at the show is Mario’s Let Me Love You. It’s one of my favourite songs and it truly never gets old.
And with hits such as Dip It Low, Say I and AM to PM, I’m so happy the show added Christina Milian to the initial line-up.
Finally, Fatman Scoop will be the evening’s very special host across all shows – because an event like this needs the ultimate hype man.
