It was only a few months ago that I wrote about a Shawn Mendes concert in Auckland. To be exact, his last show here was on November 25, 2017. If patience is not one of your virtues, then you’re in luck because he is set to come back for another Auckland show in 2019.
His Auckland show is set for November 9, 2019 at Spark Arena.
I know it’s about a two-year gap in between his previous show and his next show here but time is flying by. I really feel like he was just here! And I’m not saying that as a bad thing. It just spotlights that the talented singer-songwriter is on a hot streak and that he already has a set of new hits to perform for concertgoers.
Mendes is touring in support of his self-titled third LP, which features the lead single In My Blood – a song that is so good to sing along to, especially in the car when the song plays on the radio and you just sing along to it with so much emotion. I’m speaking from experience, obviously.
Both of his previous tours have sold out so I wouldn’t be surprised if this one does the same so don’t get slack! If you want to go to his 2019 show, make sure you buy your tickets as soon as they are available.
