New Zealand’s original single-site gin festival, Gindulgence, is coming to Auckland for the first time this summer and it’s clear that subtlety isn’t at play here. Based on the name alone, it doesn’t take much to figure out what this event is all about.
Gindulgence is about celebrating gin from both local and international brands. The festival is split into two sessions on Saturday, February 29: a day session from 11:30am-4pm and an evening session from 5:30pm-10pm. Both sessions are taking place at Generator@GRIDAKL in Wynyard Quarter.
Each ticket costs $49 and tickets include festival entry, a festival gin glass to keep, free 5ml gin tastings, and a festival program. Plus there’s live entertainment and you can attend gin, cocktail, and tonic masterclasses in the on-site Gin Theatre.
Don’t worry, there’s going to be food so you can indulge in local fare as you sip away on your gin – what a combo!
Available for purchase at each gin producer is a signature G&T and other gin-based drinks and cocktails. You also have the opportunity to purchase a bottle or two of gin to take home with you to drink at a later time.
