You need to brace yourself for this amazing news. A beer, chicken and donut pop-up is coming to town! Sing it with me! “I’m so excited and I just can’t hide it.”
The teams at Judge Bao, known for serving us modern Chinese street food, and The Pie Piper, the good folks responsible for bringing us Doornuts, are joining forces again to host a pop-up aptly named “Beer, Chicken and Donuts”, or BCD for short. The festivities will be held across two weekends this month at The Pie Piper’s shop along K’ Road.
There is no need to assume on this one. As the name suggests, you can look forward to indulging in heavenly fried chicken and donuts – and truthfully, these two are all I care about.
I’m not a fan of beer so that’s not enticing me whatsoever. If you haven’t noticed, the image used for this post doesn’t even incorporate beer at all. That’s how much I care about the beer – none. I’ll leave the cold brew for others to enjoy. The beer will be supplied by neighbouring shop Lovebucket Bar on Fridays and Saturdays. But like I said, it’s all about the fried chicken and donuts for me. Seriously, the more I mention fried chicken and donuts, the hungrier I feel.
So I’ll be seeing you at the pop-up, right? I’m going to be the one chowing down on, you guessed it, fried chicken and donuts.
