It’s back! The Auckland Diwali Festival will return for its 17th year on October 20 and 21 to celebrate the city’s vibrant Indian culture.
Each day, the festival will run from midday to 9pm at Aotea Square. As usual, expect to be entertained with live music and dance, including a Bollywood dance competition, a talent competition, and street performances. There will also be a new Queen Street stage that will feature small group performances and DJs.
But most importantly, there will be food. Food stalls will be on hand to serve tasty Indian cuisine.
A fireworks display on Sunday night will bring this year’s festival to a grand close.
