Burlesque icon Dita Von Teese has announced that she is bringing her Glamonatrix Tour to New Zealand this December so we can get our dose of glitz and glamour.
Her New Zealand tour will include shows in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch. The Auckland show will be on December 13 at The Civic.
Brace yourselves because the show promises to take audiences on a visual journey of extravagant production numbers and dazzling costumes created by famed fashion designers. Von Teese is even going to wear Christian Louboutin shoes, which instantly adds an extra level of fabulousness to the show.
Her show will be an evening of comedy and sophisticated striptease that will celebrate diverse beauty. There will be four lavish new acts for Von Teese including a reinvention of the classic burlesque “surprise cake” routine. The show will also feature a thrilling update of her famous martini glass performed with an ensemble cast.
The 2019 tour marks Von Teese’s first tour in New Zealand so this is a special one for Kiwi fans.
General public tickets are on sale from 2pm on June 28 via Teg Dainty.
