To be honest, I’m not a big Star Wars fan. I’ve seen the movies and I enjoy them but I’m really just a passive viewer. With this in mind, it’s not surprising that this post doesn’t contain any clever Star Wars references because I simply do not know any. I’m not even going to try and insert something relating to the iconic “No, I am your father.” moment because I’m just going to embarrass myself. Although I’m not a Star Wars fanatic, even I know that May the Fourth is Star Wars Day. I know this because I had colleagues at a previous job saying, “May the Fourth be with you.” to one another on a random May 4 a few years back and I asked what it was about. That was the moment I knew that the Star Wars fan base was still very active.
With another Star Wars Day on the horizon, The Bluestone Room is hosting a Star Wars Quiz Night on, you guessed it, May 4 starting from 7pm. The evening features a two and a half hour quiz, a range of Star Wars-inspired games in addition to the quiz itself, and a special Star Wars-inspired menu. You are also strongly encouraged to dress up for the evening because what’s the point of going to a Star Wars-themed event if you can’t dress up for it? And I think, whoever shows up in a Chewbacca costume deserves all the best-dressed awards.
While it is very clear, I’m not the best person to bring to this Star Wars Quiz Night, especially if you want to win, there are a lot of Star Wars fans out there so if you’re keen to go to this, quickly buy your tickets via Eventfinda because there are only 20 tables available. Entry is $90 for a team of four to six people ($15 per person for a team of six). Individual tickets are also available for purchase. If you go with this option, you will be matched up to form a team.
