You know those times when you’re not sure what you’re going to do in the weekend? Should I do this? Should I do that? Is the weather going to be crap? I’ve certainly had my fair share of those moments. For this weekend however, I feel like deciding on what to do is a no brainer. I am totally going to the Le Renault French Festival.

The most exciting part of this festival is the Le French Village taking place at The Cloud and Shed 10 on Saturday, June 9, and Sunday, June 10. The Le French Village is a market with 75 stalls this year offering French food, wine, fashion, language, pétanque, concert, games, kids corner, and so much more.

But let’s be honest, all I really care about is the food, wine, and fashion. I expect to eat a croissant at this thing and I am not leaving without buying a box of macarons. I also see myself squeezing in a wine and cheese pairing at some stage…

On Saturday night, the market continues well into the evening for the French Fan Zone where two giant screens will broadcast the All Blacks vs. XV de France game live. Following the game will be a French artist concert to keep the party atmosphere going.

So like I said, this one is no brainer. Go to the Le Renault French Festival this weekend and eat, drink, dress, play French!

$5 entry ticket is sold on site, free for minors.
