Dubbed as New Zealand’s festival of creative thinking, Semi Permanent returns to Auckland for its 15th year and to celebrate this milestone, the festival is expanding to three days for the first time ever.
From August 9 to 11 at Aotea Centre, 50 of the best international and local creatives from the worlds of art and graphic design, film, music, photography, advertising, illustration, new wave publishing, poetry, product design, and architecture will be on hand to provide insight, experience, and knowledge about the nature of their work and their creative thinking.
Even on day one, the festival is already bringing out the big guns for its Future of the Future panel. The line-up for this event includes leading creatives from brands like Airbnb, Spotify, Uber, Google, Netflix, and Facebook. This event focuses on the future of the workplace – what it looks like and what it could be with artificial intelligence, virtual reality, digital innovation, and the power of data. Fascinating stuff.
The strong line-up of speakers continues for day two and day three, plus book signings, exhibitions, and networking events.
Tickets for Semi Permanent Auckland are available via their official website.
