Christmas day is exactly a week away from today so as you can imagine, these last remaining days before the big occasion are all about ramping up the festive celebrations. I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve gone out this week for pre-Christmas dinner catch-ups (well, I can actually say how many times, I just don’t want to admit the number). Speaking of pre-Christmas celebrations, if you want to add another one to the calendar, there will be four days of Christmas festivities taking place at Silo Park as part of the “Christmas at Silo Park” event.
“Christmas at Silo Park” is on from Friday, December 20 until Monday, December 23.
There will be DJs and carols, food trucks with featured Christmas menu items, themed festive drinks, Christmas trees, festive outdoor games, and of course Santa will be there for photo-ops – and for any last minute Christmas wishes if you’ve been nice.
On Friday night, the winner of the annual Silo Cinema: People’s Choice Christmas film will be playing from 9pm and this year’s winner is… drum roll, please… Love Actually! I’d say the people definitely made an excellent choice. The pre-movie entertainment starts at 5pm.
The fun starts at midday on December 21 to 23 and finishes at 6pm on Saturday, December 21 and Sunday, December 22, and at 5pm on Monday, December 23.
