Because Halloween is never complete without a show on the cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show. This time the Annual Transylvanian Convention will be at K Road on October 27 and yes, it will be a fully interactive evening. As it should be! James Whale Halloween Double Feature
Where: Academy Cinemas

In terms of horror film directors, James Whale is one of the greats so if you’re a fan of cult horror films, or even just cult cinema in general, this event on October 27 at Academy Cinemas will be a good one. The Halloween Double Feature will be showing two cult horror favourites from the director: The Invisible Man and The Old Dark House. Both films exemplify the director’s expressionist use of horror lighting, his favoured mobile camerawork, and a signature caustic humour. Tickets are available via Academy Cinemas and you get two films for the price of one. Bonus!

Halloween Screening of Halloween
Where: Event Cinemas Queen Street

If you love horror films and you love Halloween, why not watch the latest Halloween film on Halloween? It’s the perfect combo! And this is not just any horror film, this marks the return of one of the most iconic scary movie franchises of all time with its original leading lady Laurie Strode, portrayed once again by Jamie Lee Curtis, back as the main protagonist. I’ve seen the film and it’s pretty good!
