La Zeppa is hosting a Southern style food and music “FEASTival” on May 17 to 18.
The event dubbed as “Orleans & Oysters FEASTival” is set to be a weekend of fried chicken waffle cones, oysters, hot dogs, slow-cooked BBQ, and giant pretzels. Plus, the drinks are on theme as well with loaded bloody marys, tabasco oyster shooters, and giant punch bowls.
On top of the Southern eats, the live music is also set to put everyone in the right soulful and jazzy mood. The line-up includes the 11-piece Afrofunk band Ijebu Pleasure Club, saxophone player Sam Jones, and New Orleans favourite Greg Tell.
To make things even more extra, there are selfie stations, tarot card readings, and American bar games on hand for the festivities.
This is a free entry event and the fun kicks off at midday.
