High teas are good. Themed high teas are better.
If you love Disney and high teas, then you’re in luck because Cordis Auckland is hosting a series of themed high teas inspired by upcoming Disney movies. This month’s high tea theme is in celebration of the new Disney movie The Nutcracker and the Four Realms.
The Nutcracker and the Four Realms high tea is running from November 16 to December 16 at Cordis’ The Lobby Lounge.
Expect to see a selection of sweet and savoury treats inspired by the movie presented on a fabulous three-tier stand. The menu includes the Sugar Plum Fairy (beetroot, goat cheese with pickled plums on a milk roll), The Mouse King (garlic panna cotta with heirloom tomato jelly), Mother Ginger (carrot cake, orange icing and cured duck), and The Nutcracker (hazelnut and raspberry dome). Also in the menu is a “Royal Delight” tea that has been brewed overnight with hazelnut syrup, topped with coconut water and soda water, and garnished with flowers and rosebuds. A selection of teas and coffees are also available if you’re in the mood for something else.
Seatings are available Monday to Saturday from 11:30a.m. to 4:30p.m. and Sunday from 11:30a.m. to 6:30p.m. Bookings are essential.
And depending on which day you go, prices range from $64 to $74 per adult and $38 to $48 per child under 12 years old.
The following Disney-themed high tea will be available from December 28 to January 31 and that edition will be inspired by the upcoming Mary Poppins Returns movie.
