Where You Should Celebrate Day Of The Dead

If you haven’t heard of the amazingly named Mexican holiday Day of the Dead, then you haven’t really lived. See what I did there? The Day of the Dead celebrates the lives of those who have passed with food, drinks, festivals, and parades.

If you can’t hop on a plane to Mexico to take part in the celebrations there, you can still commemorate the holiday locally. On November 2, all Mexico restaurants in the country will be offering exclusive Day of the Dead deals.

Let me just list these deals for you… a Day of the Dead menu available only on the day, Day of the Dead margaritas at a special price (Hello!), Jose Cuervo tastings (Hello again!), and everyone that dines on Day of the Dead goes into the draw to win a Margarita Masterclass.

The Day of the Dead menu will include empanada, chicken plancha, and “Pan de Muertos” doughnuts. You can order these individually or get them all for $30 as a set menu.

So if you’re keen to celebrate the holiday in the city, head on over to Britomart and pop in to Mexico for a different kind of celebration.
