Christmas is less than a week away and I can’t wait to eat and drink more than I should with the people that I love. To help make time go by faster, Silo Park is back and starting the summer season with four days of Christmas celebrations.
From December 21 to December 24, the popular urban playground in between the silos is your go-to place for lots of merry fun to keep you jolly until the big day arrives. Expect festive food trucks, an onsite bar serving special Christmas drinks (this one in particular has piqued my interest), and live music from DJs and choirs.
Friday night is especially a good one with the return of Silo Cinema. The people’s choice for this year’s Christmas film is Love Actually, which is an excellent pick. You did good, people!
And in the spirit of giving, Silo Park is throwing a Piñata Party to raise funds for the Auckland City Mission.
With plenty of festivities on hand, Silo Park is the ideal place to countdown to Christmas. ‘Tis the season, indeed!
