A Burlesque Extravaganza Is Coming To The Civic

We are so deservedly spoilt.

After a successful run last year, Cabaret de Paris is returning to the country with a one-off show at The Civic on July 7.

Cabaret de Paris is a 90-minute Australian Parisian-themed burlesque show showcasing dazzling choreography, aerial pole artistry, comedy circus performers, and an illusionist. In other words, the show is all about delivering on pure spectacle.

And then there’s also the prestige. Legendary showgirl and Moulin Rouge’s longest serving performer Marissa Burgess stars in the show and will be joined by showgirls who have graced the stages of the Moulin Rouge and The Lido. Illusionist Michael Boyd will also perform marvellous illusions and disappearances to make things even more mystifying for those in attendance.

While the illusions may keep you guessing, one thing is for sure. Expect to see money on the stage as the show features over a quarter of a million dollars worth of lavish costumes. I told you this show is all about delivering on pure spectacle and I’m so here for it!

Tickets for Cabaret de Paris are on sale now via Ticketmaster.
