As a proud child of the ‘90s, whenever Icona Pop’s hit tune I Love It plays, I always sing at the top of my lungs the catchy line, “You’re from the ‘70s, but I’m a ‘90s bitch!” So of course when news broke that an upcoming summer concert is set to bring together the biggest names of ‘90s pop to the stage, the nostalgia hit me really hard.
The concert is aptly named So Pop and the show is on Tuesday, February 5 at Spark Arena.
Although it’s not on a Thursday (#TBT, anyone?), the one-night-only show is being billed as the “ultimate throwback pop concert” with a line-up headed by Aqua, Vengaboys, Blue, and B*Witched.
To round off the four-hour pop extravaganza, the rest of the line-up includes Eiffel 65, 2 Unlimited, The Outhere Brothers, Mr President, and Lou Bega.
