Well here’s something that sounds unusual and fun…
To celebrate the Sky Tower’s 23rd birthday, the iconic Auckland landmark is hosting an event described as “New Zealand’s highest Silent Disco” on August 22.
Each Silent Disco ticket costs $45 and includes entry to the 186 metre-high viewing platform inside the Sky Tower on level 51, performance by Taejin + Disco on Sax, headset, and drinks and food available for purchase.
The headset will have three channels to choose from that will play a mix of hip hop, pop and dance music. To add to the atmosphere of it all, the headsets will even glow a different colour depending on the channel they’re on.
