Guys, get ready because this April is jam-packed full of exciting concerts. The legendary Lionel Richie, the uber talented Halsey, and Las Vegas rockers The Killers are all set to have their own concerts this month at Spark Arena.
Music icon Lionel Richie is up first with a show on April 12. Both diehard and casual fans will no doubt enjoy the show as he will be performing a slew of his greatest hits. Hey, the tour is called All The Hits so it’s pretty clear what concertgoers can expect at the show. Sing along to timeless songs such as Endless Love, Lady, Truly, All Night Long (All Night), Penny Lover, Stuck On You, Say You, Say Me, Dancing on the Ceiling and of course, Hello. Special guests on the show are CHIC featuring Nile Rodgers.
Next up is Halsey’s show, which is scheduled for April 19. She is returning to New Zealand for her debut headlining show as part of her Hopeless Fountain Kingdom world tour. This is quite the achievement for someone who first built a following after posting songs online. I know you will be singing along to her highly addictive hits such as Bad At Love and Now Or Never so get those vocal chords ready.
And the day after Halsey’s show, The Killers have a show set for April 20. Imagine if you went to both shows back-to-back… Actually, I wouldn’t be surprised if some people do end up going to both shows (just drink some coffee the next day to keep you going). The last time The Killers were here was back in 2009 so it has been a while. This time around the band is touring in support of their latest album Wonderful Wonderful, which includes songs such as The Man and Run For Cover.
