If you’re interested in attending a creative type of social gathering, or just a different kind of social event altogether, might I suggest going to the Drawing Club at Queens Wharf.
The Drawing Club is a free event where you can join other artists and expressionists for a social session of figure drawing complete with live models, still life backdrops, and music.
Don’t panic if you consider yourself a novice, all skill levels are welcome. Some materials are supplied but you need to bring your own drawing supplies at the session. You can’t go wrong with bringing along pencil and paper.
There are two, two-hour sessions on Wednesday afternoons left in the series that you can attend. The next session is on Wednesday, February 19 at 5pm. The last session is on Wednesday, March 18 at 5pm.
While the sessions are free, you need to register online prior to attending. Visit the Queens Wharf Facebook page to register.
