When an event boldly describes itself as “the greatest celebration of New Zealand wine,” I am immediately interested and said event is none other than Winetopia!
Winetopia is returning to Auckland for its fourth year on June 14-15 at Shed 10.
For Winetopia 2019, you can try hundreds of lovingly crafted wines from 60 of the best wineries across all regions of our beautiful country. Take your pick from the likes of Astrolabe, Elephant Hill, JK14, Gibbston Valley, and Man O’ War to name a few.
Besides the wine tastings, attendees can also take part in talks and tasting masterclasses where leading wine gurus share their vast wine knowledge and give you tips and tricks involving wine, including food and wine matching and choosing the right wine glass to use.
And what’s a wine event without food? A failure. You can’t have good wine without good food. So pair your delicious wines with food offerings from the likes of Akemi’s Gyoza, Salash Delicatessen, Makana Confections, and A Lady Butcher.
